HARD ROCK HOTEL

Scope:

The project comprised of the check-in, the Hard Rock Café, the Rock Royalty (VIP Guests), the Rock Shop and all other associated facilities within the Hard Rock Café brand.

An acoustic (mass barrier) ceiling was completed throughout 80 percent of the floor to stop the noise from the live acts reaching the bedrooms above. This involved two types of CDM-PHS hangers to enable the acoustic ceiling to be hung separately to the mechanical services and the finished ceiling. The remaining works followed with acoustic partitions separating the different areas; recessed partitions for the memorabilia cases; coffered feature ceilings throughout and Armstrong lay-in grid ceilings to the kitchen areas.
